The State of Missouri is dedicated to providing work force training assistance to eligible Missouri companies.  Through the Department of Secondary Education (DESE) and the Division of Workforce Development (DWD), the state is able to provide training dollars for manufacturing companies that meet specific eligibility requirements. 

Eligibility Requirements:

• Companies making a major capital investment in manufacturing

• Manufacturing companies with a net gain of employees

• Companies introducing a new manufacturing product or service.

The School District of the City of St. Charles is the Local Education Agency (LEA) that is committed to working in partnership with DESE and DWD to administer state funding. In addition to administrative responsibilities, the customized training division can provide your company with the following services:

• Technical, management and supervisory training.

• Expertise & support in procuring, developing and delivering training.

• Development of training materials such as: documentation of procedures, skills audit checklists, and customized equipment manuals.
