Enrollment
You do not have to be a resident of St. Charles to register for a class. With the exception of youth classes, students under 16 may enroll in Adult classes only if accompanied by a registered adult.

Refund Policy
Adult and Community Education reserves the right to cancel a class if sufficient enrollment is not achieved. Registrants will be notified by phone or e-mail if a class is cancelled. Please be sure to advise the office of any changes in your contact information. Full refunds will be issued for classes cancelled by the school. If you drop a class one business day before classes begin or earlier, you will receive a full refund minus a $10.00 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given if the class is dropped on the starting date or after the class has begun.

Payment
Payment can be made by check, payable to the St. Charles City School District, or by credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, or Discover. No cash payments are accepted.

Senior Citizen Discount
If you are 60 years of age or older, you can receive a 10% discount on the tuition price of all classes. (No discount on textbooks.)

Disability Services
Students with disabilities who need accommodation are encouraged to call 636-443-4043 before registering.

Placement Services
A free-of-charge placement service is available to all students who are presently enrolled in or who have completed vocational or technical classes. For more information contact Carol Helton at 636-443-4950 from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
