Refund
Policy
Full refunds will be given if a class does not form due to
insufficient enrollment, or if a class is full when your
registration is received.

You may drop any class and receive a refund, minus
the $10.00 registration fee, if you notify our office at least 1
working days prior to class start date.
No
Refunds
Class cancellations must be made at least one
business day before the class begins. If a class is cancelled the
day of class or after the class has started no refund will be
awarded.
Changing
Classes - Moves
Moving to a later-starting class or to a different
class than the one you selected when you enrolled is permissible
(subject to space availability). There will be a $5.00 fee for any
move made within 48 hours of a class start or thereafter. Students
cannot move into future semester classes.
Grade
Transcripts
Transcript fees are $5.00. Request
for transcripts should be made in writing or in person.
Request that do not include payment will not be processed.
Transcript requests cannot be taken over the phone.
Transcripts are maintained for technical or vocational classes
only. Sending a transcript is not automatic, and you
should not expect to receive one unless you request it from the
office and pay the fee.
Certificates
of Completion
Certificates of Completion are awarded to students who
successfully complete vocational classes. Students who
receive a grade of "C" or better and attend at least 80%
of the class will receive a certificate. They are
distributed by the instructor at the last class. Certificates
are never mailed. If you are entitled to a
certificate, but are unable to attend the last class, your
certificate will be returned to the office. Unclaimed
certificates are destroyed 30 days after the close of the
semester. There is a $2.00 charge to duplicate a
certificate.
Continuing
Education Units (CEU's)
You will see "CEU" appearing in the descriptions
of our vocational classes. What are CEU's? They are a
form of nationally recognized credit which is based on time spent
in continuing education experiences. CEU's may be required
for professional certification, relicensure programs, or
occupational promotions. CEU credit is given for vocational
or technical classes offered through our program. One CEU is
earned for every 10 hours of instruction in designated classes.
A record of cumulative CEU's is maintained for all students,
and will appear on transcripts that are requested from the office.
Some classes may qualify for college credit. Please check
with the college of your choice.
